Qu’est-ce que le Social Media Club (Paris)?
|
The Social Media Club (Paris) is the French branch of the Social Media Club founded in the US, http://www.socialmediaclub.org/ The idea for Social Media Club originated in the Fall of 2005 with the Web 2point1 BrainJam. This led to create the non-profit BrainJams organization to promote the idea of unconferences and ad-hoc collaboration. As a result of thousands of conversations since, they have now launched this site to begin the conversation about the future of Social Media
Social Media Club is being organized for the purpose of sharing best practices, establishing ethics and standards, and promoting media literacy around the emerging area of Social Media. This is the beginning of a global conversation about building an organization and a community where the many diverse groups of people who care about social media can come together to discover, connect, share, and learn. Wikipedia defines Social Media as “the online tools and platforms that people use to share opinions, insights, experiences, and perspectives with each other. Social media can take many different forms, including text, images, audio, and video. Popular social mediums include blogs, message boards, podcasts, wikis, and vlogs.” Source: http://socialmediaclub.fr/ |
